故宫铜狮子为什么不能摸？
根据野史记载，“野史”：道光长子奕纬曾被寄予厚望。不过他却不爱读书，偏爱顶撞师父。一次，师傅实在受不了，规劝他：“你不好好读书，将来怎么做皇帝啊！”奕纬一听，当场怒道：“我要是做了皇帝，第一个就先杀了你！”师傅被噎得说不出话，赶紧掉头去找道光皇帝请罪，道光勃然大怒，命人把奕纬找来。结果，儿子还没跪下，道光上去就是一脚。没想到正巧踹到了奕纬的裆部，直接把他踹死了。后来有一天，道光从断虹桥路过，突然发现第四个石狮子一爪护在双腿之间，表情痛苦，这让他联想起自己的儿子，下令用红布把那个石狮子盖住。后来，宫里人纷纷传言，奕纬其实是石狮子转世，因为这石桥是元代就留下的。

说狮子过于霸气，人镇不住，所以不能和它们合影。要不然只能被它们压住官运、财运，当然还有学运。。。

还有的说法就是破坏公物了，影响形象了什么的，到现在也没有什么确切的说法。
